Dream 1: Rivers of Unity
Standing with the Lord high in the air I looked down and saw multiple rivers that divided lands. I heard “rivers divided” but could feel the heart of Unity from the Father. As I stood with Him I cried and watched as some rivers flowed in peace. I looked again and then saw some rivers flowing against the current; not in peace. The Lord then blew a Shofar and I watched as those rivers that heard the blast from the horn ; began to flow in peace and form one river of Unity. This river was flowing with authority and strength. As I saw the rivers that heard the sound from the Lord’s Shofar call, begin to flow and form one river, my insides felt the force of this river and it felt like a gusher were to burst forth from my body. This gusher bursted forth and broke barriers of division. I felt the Lord's desire for His children to hear and flow with Him and to Him; all in one accord - in Love and Unity.
End of Dream
In this dream I felt a deep love of the Fathers heart for His children to flow in one accord and flow in the river of Unity that is His heartbeat. This love and unity that is felt in this dream is a cry for restoration and redemption. After much prayer and time with the Lord on this dream He led me to many places in His word. These places have been a place I have remained for a long time with the Lord - sitting, praying, surrendering and yielding to His voice.
Isaiah 2:2-3
2 In the last days
the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established
as the highest of the mountains;
it will be exalted above the hills,
and all nations will stream to it.
3 Many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the temple of the God of Jacob.
He will teach us His ways,
so that we may walk in His paths."
Isaiah 18:3;7
3 All you who inhabit the world, and live on earth,
As soon as a flag is raised on the mountains, you
will see it,
And as soon as the trumpet is blown, you will hear
it.
7 At that time tribute will be brought to the LORD Alimighty
from a people tall and smooth-skinned,
from a people feared far and wide,
a nation mighty and conquering,
whose land is divided by rivers -
the gifts will be brought to Mount Zion,
the place of the Name of the LORD Almighty.
Ezekiel 47: 1-12
Revelation 22:2
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of
the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve
manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month:
and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the
nations.
In prayer with the Lord I just wept. Through this powerful dream that led to the reading of His word, I could feel and understand His heartbeat not only for Unity, but for all that He is - which is Love.
1 John 4: 7-8
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
For many years, when I worship - the Lord will speak to me and say "tearing down for the building up" over and over. I ask the Lord, what are You saying?
He leads me to Joshua when he victoriously blew the shofar for victory and the walls fell down in order to gain the grounds of the Promised land from God. Then He leads me to Nehemiah who rebuilt the wall so many could walk through as an important physical symbol of the establishment of the Jews as a people.
Throughout history there have been stones that build walls. Many times these walls were even a representation of division. King Herod purposefully built mighty walls with stones that weighed over 1 million lbs because he was afraid of being attacked.
These walls build up barriers that ultimately restrict the flow of the river of Unity.
These walls result in injustice, hate, discord, confusion, disease, sickness and much more that go against all that the Lord has for our intended purpose.
The Lord longs for His children to hear His voice and flow in the river of Unity.
Unity is defined as : the state of being united or joined as a whole. (Oxford Languages)
When I felt the Lord's heart of Unity it wasn't that we must all agree.
It is a flow in the rhythm of His heartbeat that allows for eyes to see and ears to hear all that He is. When we have this clarity to hear His voice ; it is then that Love floods in and breaks barriers.
What is love...? God.
When God floods in the river - it cannot help but flow freely and United.
We will be able to hear the shofar being blown and see the flag that is raised high. We will have clarity with the mind of Christ.
Ephesians 2:1;4
"And you were dead in the trespasses and sins"
4 BUT GOD, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, 5: even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ - by grace you have been saved -"
Unity and Love in this dream; as He blew the shofar - was a call to attention for those to answer to the call of who they are in Christ. This Unity is all that we need to flow in one accord. Again, Isaiah 18:3 ; the prophet speaks about the flag being raised and those will see it and when the trumpet is blown, those will hear it.
Will we see and hear; or will the walls that have hardened our hearts not allow the river to flow? In these verses also there is a description of the nations flowing to Zion to meet the Lord and learn His ways.
Oh to be united in the desire to learn the ways of the Lord!
Ephesians 2:8-10
8"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9: not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10: For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them"
It is the grace of God that has saved us. He saved us so that we would walk in His ways - His good ways.
We are alive together with Christ for the greater works to be done as He said on this earth.
We are alive to bow and confess that Jesus is Lord.
We are alive to pay tribute to the King of Kings and to flow to Him.
This can only be done in love.
This can only be done in unity.
What would truly happen if we yearned for the ways of the Lord?
What would happen if we set aside our indifferences and opinions and shifted our mindset on the ways, thoughts, desires, and heartbeat of the Lord?
May the rivers of division hear the trumpet!
May the rivers of division see the flag flying high!
May the rivers flow in one accord for the King of Kings!
Through love and unity this river flows with peaceful and authoritative force.
This river flows even down in to the Dead Sea making those lifeless waters healed in Jesus name!
Ezekiel 47 reveals this very promise from the Lord.
Ezekiel 47:6-12
He asked me, "Son of man, do you see this?" Then He led me back to the bank of the river. 7 When I arrived there, I saw a great number of trees on each side of the river. 8 He said to me, "This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down in the Arabah, where it enters the Dead Sea. When it empties into the sea, the salty water there becomes fresh. 9 There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live. 10 Fisherman will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds-like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea. 11 But the swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt. 12 Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing."
There will be healing, justice, beauty, redemption and restoration.
There is a River - a river of Unity and Love.
Exodus 33:13,18
13 Teach me Your ways Lord,
That I may know You
18 That Your Glory may be seen
May our hearts align with Your heart Lord
May Unity flow not only through the lands - but in and through Your body. Purify us Lord - make us spotless so we are ready for You and all that You have for us to do -
In Jesus name - Amen!
